*** Now that the temperatures rise every day, it really feels like summer. And with the warm weather comes all the fun outdoor activities, my favorite being a leisurely weekend picnic. A little while ago we were lucky to have weather just perfect for a picnic in the park. Not too hot, nor too chilly. We packed up some of our favourite snacks with a bottle of champagne and headed to Holland Park for a beautiful, relaxing afternoon. After filling up on some delicious food, we sunbathed on the blanket. It was such a lovely day! So often we get caught up in trying to make plans and entertain our weekends with "new" activities and forget how fun and wonderful simple things like these are.
