LFW AW16 Day 3

Image
Finally, here is the look I wore on the 3rd day of LFW, ready for the last shows I decided to attend.  To achieve that smart twist, I've paired a black blazer with the undisputed piece of the season - a slip dress.  I chose one with a wisp of lace, to give a touch of luxe simplicity and  a pair of leather boots to complete the effortless look. Hope you're all having a wonderful start of spring! xx Escada blazer (similar  here  and here ) // Asos slip dress in Navy (you can find a very similar model  here ) Zara red belt //  Garkony black leather  boots  //  L'Oreal lipstick in  Pure Red   Hair & Makeup:  L'Oreal Paris Studio Pro

How To Wear Black Without Looking Boring

Image
Black always looked so edgy and mysterious. You can never go wrong with an all-black ensemble which lends itself nicely to a downtown look. The beauty of black? You can mix textures without the fear of creating an overly busy outfit. Here I blended fringe, leather, silk and suede in one uber chic outfit. To jazz up the look, I chose a starry print as well. And there you have an ideal way to add a dose of cool to your monochrome outfit. Vermilion Shades

*** One warm morning I lay in my bed caressed by the ray of sunlight pointing like a golden finger through the dust particles in the air. Stretching like a lazy cat, I stuck my toes out from under the sheets and wiggled them, enjoying the feeling.  Then, lots of light! Someone had pulled the curtain open.. A smiling face beamed at me. "Hello, sleepy head!" he whispered.. "It's a beautiful day!" And so I discovered when we went on the terrace, as the sun filtered through the leaves turned everything into a symphony of soft greens.  The air felt warm on my cheeks for the first time in months, and that afternoon I wandered around streets of blossomed trees, fascinated by the shades of melted vermilion the town was covered in. At one point it felt like I was part of an old movie. London does that a lot, and especially when the sun makes that perfect golden hour light that is reflected in all of the windows... *** ...

The Golden Hour

Image
Coffee, after coffee…Hours pass by...slowly, but mostly in the blink of an eye. These past weeks I have been terribly busy , and I barely manage to find a minute to post or even catch my breath. Oh, I am really looking forward to summer, and every tiny ray of sunshine that decides to touch my skin makes me think I'm one step closer to the warm weather days. It's a promise that from now on I'll post more often because I want to share as much as I can with my readers which means to be present as much as possible on the blog. "I relish that moment in the afternoon when we start to realize how transparent our veils of doing well, of going somewhere, are." How poetic is this atmosphere. White buildings and cotton candy sky, the cold winter breeze..and the thought of spring approaching me softly. Seasonal Glow

Image
We see each season as a chance to try something new. We consider cashmere to be the best thing about falling temperatures. We love sequined heels as much as ankle boots. We think finding "the one" refers to that perfect trench coat. We make his pieces ours with a bit of finesse and a healthy dose of sparkle. We believe it's possible to reinvent yourself every single time you get dressed. ☆ Here's to a season of new beginnings. ☆ I was wearing: Vintage YSL Emerald Silk Blouse (Similar Here , Here & Here ) /  StyleLondon  Silk Skirt /  Zara  leather ankle boots /  White Pearls (Similar Here ).
