Edgar Allan Poe was a brilliant mind, and today, writing this post, I fancy nothing else than a little poetry and some dreams of winter... Take this kiss upon the brow! And, in parting from you now, Thus much let me avow- You are not wrong, who deem That my days have been a dream; Yet if hope has flown away In a night, or in a day, In a vision, or in none, Is it therefore the less gone? All that we see or seem Is but a dream within a dream. I stand amid the roar Of a surf-tormented shore, And I hold within my hand Grains of the golden sand- How few! yet how they creep Through my fingers to the deep, While I weep- while I weep! O God! can I not grasp Them with a tighter clasp? O God! can I not save One from the pitiless wave? Is all that we see or seem But a dream within a dream?                                           ...

*** I couldn’t wait to share with you my latest adventures and all the beautiful pictures we took on our holiday. I’m sure you all heard about that piece of Paradise, the smell of salty water from afar blending with the scent of pine trees.. mountains and the sea in the same place - the perfect landscape, that overwhelms my eyes every time.  Trees were covered with powdered limestone, making them look full of snow, and I was enchanted by the color of the Ionian Sea. Like a mermaid away from the world, lulled by the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs... How beautiful nature is and how wonderful that we can take delight in it! ***
